Ok i never cared before but they gotta step up these cell phone cameras. Yes I know there are a few 5 and 8 megapixel phones out there, but none of those phones really matter. Hows about puttin one of them hah qualatay lenses on a phone people actually use, or at least one that comes with a keyboard.  Anyway, now that this is up I’ll probably chill until i get the layout together. Hmm  I think i have my G10 with me now that I think about it.. Can’t take an SLR everywhere you go.. even tho I tend to.

I don’t know why I said mission statement. I have no grand scheme here. I never do actually. My entire career has been a game of chance and fate. That being said, oneninesixseven is just me sharing my love for gear with anyone else who cares to read.

Obviously anyone who knows me knows it will be 99% Ralph Lauren. And not just “blue label” Polo. I’m a big fan of Rlx, and RRL has made a great comeback as well. I’m not super crazy about Rugby, but they have some nice designs as well and years ahead of them. That’s a good post in itself.

Actually if it wasn’t for Rugby, I might not have done this. I’ve always wanted to do a blog/forum dedicated to this sort of thing, but a twitter debate about the validity/longevity/ freshness of the Rugby line kicked my motivation to do it into high gear. Shouts to 88, R.Thentic and that dude whose name I can’t remember. Ferris maybe? (forgive me, i cant even remember what i ate 4 hours ago) Coach K jumped in for a Minute as well.

If anyone has flicks or stories they’d like to share, I’ll be setting up a way for people to submit things that we’ll post up. A few of my cohorts will probably be contributing as well, and when I get around to it, I’ll probably create a small forum for more personal interaction amongst each other as well. For those who don’t know I do this stuff myself, no web designers, no programmers, no ads, no nothing. But when the mood hits me I go as hard as I can within my limited scope of programming and the like. So if anyone wants to help with graphics or something it’s greatly appreciated.

I’m on a flight to go see the Dr. (no Mo Dee) in LA, (i actually got a Detox check!) so I’ll probably work on this from the hotel tonight after I land.

Ii haven’t set up an email address for correspondence to this blog yet. But when I do it will be justin atttt oneninesixseven dawt cawm. ( gotta watch out for the spam bots, I learned my lesson posting the tmtd address ONE time on the blog.. Big mistake.) Please keep any mail strictly related to something relevant to this blog. If you send me anything about your music or demo it will be deleted, you will be banned from here, your IP address will be tracked, and I may come to the crib and punch you in your face just for living.

This will mostly be a collection of personal pictures with short thoughts and rants, but I will update it very regularly. Unlike TMTD I can post to this blog from my iPhone and Blackberry so it’ll be a lot easier. On that note. Gonna try and get some shut-eye. Wonder If ill be able to pull that off in coach. They gave my seat in the front away because they thought I wasn’t showing up. Flight was 7pm, I got to airport at 6:35 but can you believe they actually pulled the jetway back out for me and let me get on? I’m tellin you that Live your Life works wonders with old folks too.
